New 9-1-1 Audio Recording of the Ali Mohammed Homicide

September 4, 2013
Dear Sir/Madam,
ali
Ali Ahmed Mohammed
I have attached the finally released unedited three minute audio recording of the 9-1-1 phone call concerning the homicide of Ali Ahmed Mohammed outside the DC 9 nightclub on October 15, 2010. After the US Attorney’s Office declined to proceed with a criminal indictment, the case is currently in a multimillion dollar civil litigation suit (2011 CA 008167 B: ESTATE OF ALI AHMED MOHAMMED, et al. Vs. BAR 9, LLC, et al.) brought by the Mohammed family.
On the audio recording, you will hear the cries and moans of Mr. Ali Mohammed as he is subdued by the four bouncers and co-owner of the club and lay dead minutes later. You will also hear derogatory language being used against Ali, and in response to his pleas he is told to shut up. The caller on the phone who talks casually and flippantly is one of the five men who were immediately arrested and charged with murder but were later all mysteriously released.

Having taken months for an ambiguous medical examiner report to be released citing the discredited explanation of excited delirium as a cause of death, and now years before the 9-1-1 recording is released, it becomes apparent that not only did Ali Mohammed die at the hands of these DC 9 employees but there has been a strong effort by some individuals to obfuscate the truth about this sad event.
If you plan to broadcast or publish parts of this recording, which I hope you do in the interest of justice for Ali, you would want to edit the caller?s name and phone number given on the call. You should have plenty of background reporting on this case as it has been headlined in the media on many occasions (Google ? ?Ali Mohammed and DC 9?). If you have any questions about the recording or the case, you should contact the Donald Temple Law Firm (202-628-1101) who is representing the Mohammed family in this litigation.
Sincerely,
Andrew Laurence
